Robert Lombardelli Partnership is providing Architectural Design services for the redevelopment of Sutton Manor Clinic for Specialty Care Plc. Set in the rolling countryside of Essex, the site consists of a number of listed outbuildings, along with Grade II listed manor house, and is designated as Green Belt Land under planning legislation.
The project involves the construction of a new, 24 bed residential mental health unit and the upgrading and conversion of the barns to provide additional back up staff facilities. The work commenced on site in July 2003 and completed in 2005. The design of the new building was required to reflect the rural nature of the site.
