8 Chesham Place was the refurbishment of a 6 storey Grade II Listed building within the Conservation Area of Belgravia. The project consisted of the conversion of the existing office space in the basement, ground and 1st floor into residential use and the upgrading/ re-decoration of the existing apartments on the remaining floors.
Works included: asbestos removal to the existing electrical heaters and pipework, conservation of the original ground floor entrance tiling conservation, restoration of the original windows and the conservation and restoration of the internal ornate coving. The refurbishment aimed to complement the existing traditional period features with a twist of contemporary design. Works were completed in 2005.
