The provision of a high quality 30 place nursery building with associated staff facilities and administrative offices for the borough playgroup and nursery management team. Although substantially a new build project, the scheme involved the incorporation of an existing grade 2 listed caretaker’s cottage and boundary wall. Due to the listed status, the design and construction had to be to a very high quality, sympathetic with the local surroundings. The building provides an attractive environment whilst maintaining high levels of safety and security for the children and staff.
