Extensions to this elderly person’s block have added 9 flats, a lift, a new communal lounge and also a new community hall under the new building. This was an early partnering scheme, which has provided valuable experience in this form of contract. With the residents remaining in occupation throughout, the project required high degree of tenant liaison and co-operation through both design and build processes.
