Rockley Road is the scheme of 16 flats, houses and bungalows plus the construction of a shop in Luton. The project was very successful, carried out as a partnering contract with Guinness Trust as client, Jarvis as the main contractor and Pinewood as the timber frame sub contractor. The project team worked very well together, overcoming a number of pre contract and site problems and achieving a project with a very good design, with a high quality of finish, completion on time and below budget.
The scheme was a text book project demonstrating the advantages of the Partnering system and adoption of the Latham Philosophy.
