This prestigious project was completed in 2017 and was the demolition of existing buildings and the construction of 16 luxuriously appointed private sale houses for Origin Properties Ltd, who were the developers for the site. The scheme includes 8 three bed houses and 8 four bed houses. Each property has a bedroom in the roof space, while maintaining a predominantly 2 storey profile. The houses are constructed with materials to blend with the surrounding area, while including some modern touches of deep set, tall windows. The interiors are completely contemporary, with many enhancements to reduce carbon emissions and running costs. The roofing includes PV panels that are fully integrated with the roof slopes and are in lieu of the slates.
Brookman’s Park is a charming village in Hertfordshire and this development is nestled within the heart of the village, so that the people can enjoy the countryside living, but at the same time have quick links to the city.
This site is close to a railway line and was opposite a construction site which was in progress. RLP worked closely with Network Rail to comply with their requirements and regularly liaised with the adjacent site to ensure that there is minimal disruption to the programme.
