Robert Lombardelli Partnership worked with Horsley Huber Architects on the Emanuel School Theatre project.
Located in Wandsworth, Emanuel School is situated on a vast 12acre site. Surrounded by landscaped grounds, the main Victorian Building houses a chapel, a library, concert hall and drama studio whilst more recent buildings house further facilities.
This project consisted of the demolition of the existing Theatre building and construction of a new extended Theatre, to be used for both teaching and for performances of a professional standard. Procured on a traditional basis, with a contract value of £1.25 million, works included the construction of a new pitched roof, a timber clad extension with glazed curtain walling and upgrading of the associated services within the basement plant room. Works completed in early 2013.
