Robert Lombardelli Partnership provided full Architectural Design, Contract Administration and Quantity Surveying Services for the design and construction of a new house and offices for a private client.
Standing on grounds in excess of 1 acre, our brief was to provide a traditional country house style to the front, using a red brick and stone façade for the house, with the adjacent timber clad barn, set back around a large gravel entrance drive. Internally, our client required a modern, light spacious interior, utilising oak, stainless steel and glass. Internal features created include a curved oak staircase and a double height living area with glass balcony looking down from the gallery above. These areas and the principle aspects of the house all face south, look out over the grounds to the rear. The total cost of the project was in the excess of £500,000.
